For the non-angler or the angler's family there is plenty to do at Lakeshore. Your children can enjoy our play area (built to the highest safety standards), our nature walks through the woodland and our scenic lakeshore walks

The children (and adults) can enjoy the use of our full size tennis court located in a scenic tree lined setting. All these facilities are complimentary to our customers at Lakeshore.

The area is known as a golfers paradise - one can enjoy a choice of Ballinrobe or Westport Championship golf courses, along with a number of nine hole courses, including Ballinrobe, Claremorris and Castlebar, with Par 3 courses at Cross, Balla and Castlebar.

Other off site activities include street festivals, horse racing horse riding, mountain biking and cycling trails, hill and nature walks, swimming and watersports or visit the many historical and archaelogical sites that dot the region. There are beautiful scenic drives, the freedom of unspoilt beaches and the seclusion of the rugged countryside. At night enjoy the restaurants and traditional Irish pubs, many with live music sessions.
